Mr. Fisher has a diverse and rich background in business and real estate law. Over the past twenty-plus years, Mr. Fisher has arranged and orchestrated complex real estate and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions of publicly and  privately held companies. He has extensive experience in the in negotiation, financing and drafting of long-term commercial leases for both private and publicly-held companies. Mr. Fisher serves as a real estate foreclosure trustee. He also has vast experience in acting as outside corporate counsel to real estate developers, general contractors, architects, engineers and others in the  real estate industry.

Mr. Fisher has a blended litigation and transactional practice. Mr. Fisher tried his first jury trial to a successful verdict while in his second year of law school, and has been winning bench and jury trials consistently for over twenty years.  Well-respected by his colleagues in the legal field, Mr. Fisher is often retained by other attorneys to represent them. Mr. Fisher personally and meticulously prepares and works up every case, from the initial client interview, through the pleading and discovery stages, all the way through trial. Mr. Fisher uses a mixed media of computer presentations, graphics and electronic case management software to present his cases to the trier of fact. Mr. Fisher maintains an almost-paperless office and is trained and proficient in case management and case presentation computer programs.

Mr. Fisher’s real estate practice experience includes the representation of private and institutional lenders, developers and investors in all areas of real estate.  Sub-areas of practice include commercial leasing; ground leasing and financing; construction and permanent financing; loan restructuring and workouts; commercial development; acquisition and sale of vacant land, office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, shopping centers, single family residences and other commercial and residential properties; acquisition, sale and financing of loan portfolios; forming and representing corporations, limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships and joint ventures; contractor, subcontractor, materialmen contracts and liens and  construction disputes.

In the banking field, Mr. Fisher works with investors and lenders in connection with securitized real estate transactions. Mr. Fisher also deals with UCC and Commercial Code issues related to banking and securitized lending.

Mr. Fisher also has substantial experience handling administrative hearings before the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Department of Real Estate and the Department of Corporations. His practice involves the representation of escrow companies, real estate brokerage firms and affiliated businesses in licensing and compliance issues as well.

In the personal property field, Mr. Fisher is considered by his peers as an expert in the secured collateral  lending field. Mr. Fisher has represented scores of pawnbrokers, title pawn, pay day lenders  and other consumer lenders, forming  businesses (incorporations, LLCs, LPs, GPs, etc.), preparing leases, buy-sell agreements, stock purchase agreements, warrants, options and other on-going business agreements for collateral lenders. Mr. Fisher is a member of the Collateral Loan and Secondhand Dealers Association which actively promotes the image of, and laws relating to, collateral lenders. Mr. Fisher represents these businesses in litigation issues arising out of the UCC and Financial Code, as well as in administrative hearings (licensing, police holds, and related administrative remedies.)

Finally, Mr. Fisher’s experience reaches deeply in labor issues, such as State labor laws and compliance therewith, labor disputes, wrongful discharge issues, at-will issues, and general operational issues that arise in small and medium-sized businesses.


Mr. Fisher was licensed as a real agent in 1987, and then became a real estate broker shortly thereafter. Mr. Fisher has owned and operated two firms BFD Realty Corporation and Real Wise Investments. Mr. Fisher oversees a small residential and commercial practice with a half dozen agents operating under his license. Mr. Fisher approaches every transaction hands-on, and provides seminars and lectures to both his own agents as well as larger firms’ agents.
